PRINTER DRIVERS

Drish has developed drivers for graphic thermal printers for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Windows CE (all versions), LINUX (Red Hat and Mandrake) and OPOS. The drivers support serial, parallel and USB printers. The driver developed is an integrated driver and the user does not need to install different drivers for different printers of the same make. A single driver serves the purpose. The driver includes a base driver and the print processor to support various capabilities in the printer.

LINUX DRIVERS

The demand for Linux has driven the need for Linux based devices and as a result, many manufactures now require drivers to support the Linux based hardware. Drish has developed reliable, high performance Linux drivers for a variety of printer hardware technologies.

The printer driver developed on Linux works on both LPD and CUPS printing system. The current driver works on Red Hat and Mandrake version of Linux. The Linux driver is an integrated driver, the user need not install separate driver for different printers. Using this driver the user needs to install the driver only once for all similar printers. The Linux driver supports all the features as supported by Windows driver.

OPOS DRIVER

The OLE-POS Standards are very helpful for fast, Plug-and-Play Software Development. OLE for POS(OPOS) is an object-based programming environment for the development of Point-of-Sales(POS) terminal applications. OPOS allows POS developers to run their applications unmodified across a complete range of industry standard POS terminals and peripherals. OOPs driver is compatible with Microsoft's Retail Management System (RMS).

MOUSE DRIVERS

Drish has developed WDM drivers to support a USB 5 button Optical mouse. It includes HID class drivers, Filter Drivers and mini-drivers for both 2D and 3D hardware interfaces of the mouse. The Mouse Driver makes it possible to program all the 5 buttons of the mouse to a wide range of functionalities, ranging from standard mouse functionalities and different function keys to define the exact meaning of the key.
